Halymenia Dilatata is an extremely cool macro algae that’s fairly easy to grow. And adds a pop of color under blues that no other macro can offer! Its such a fun add for macro tanks, seahorses, lagoon style etc. preferring moderate-high light (PAR 100-150) with moderate flow. This is truly a beautiful macro algae will be the main attraction and absorbs nutrients in the tank. Portion will be roughly 3-4” similar in size to picture shown.

Please note that while we go to great lengths to treat, quarantine and remove any unwanted parasites, hitchhikers, and other organisms from our macro algaes, we do not guarantee that this item is completely and totally free of anything unwanted. This is because sometimes spores, eggs, etc can remain viable but not visible, despite our strict quarantine procedure. We strive for the cleanest and highest quality macroalgae but always recommend that you properly quarantine anything new before adding it to your tank.
We use UPS 1-2 day for macro algae shipment. To minimize the risk of shipping delays we ship on Tuesday or Wednesdays only after contacting you, which we will do via email after Checkout. Your tracking information will also be sent via email as soon as your order has been packaged and delivered to our local UPS location. If you require a shipping day other than Tuesday or Wednesday, please contact us so we can discuss other options. Please note that before we ship any order out we check the weather in our area as well as the weather in your area to ensure macro algae travels as safely as possible without delay. However, we do understand that there are always the possibillities of delays so for that reason we cover ANY macro algae that arrive dead. All we require is just that pictures are taken and sent to us within 1-2 days of your package arriving.
