This is a type of Mycedium elephantotus that we mainly refer to as a chalice coral. This is a low light coral (PAR 50-150) that prefers moderate flow to keep detritus from settling on it. This coral species grows in a plating or shallow cup like growth. Aquacultured right here in our growout this is a very cool piece!
We are feeding a live blend of phytoplankton and rotifers to give it great growth and color!
