Aka our “Blue Macaw” chalice is a coral that prefers low light (PAR 50-150) with moderate flow to keep detritus from settling on it.
This coral species grows in a plating or shallow cup like growth.
The corallites (eyes) of Mycedium species face toward the outer area of the coral helping identify from Oxypora sp.
Aquacultured right here in our growout this is a great addition to any reef adding bright vivid color that will be sure to catch the eye!
We are feeding live phytoplankton and rotifers to give it great growth and color!
