This is a slow encrusting coral with large fleshy polyps (corallites) separated by thick walls. They prefer a low to moderate lighting (50-150PAR) with moderate to low flow. We have found that we get our best colors in moderately low light (100-150 PAR) with moderate indirect flow.
We broadcast feed live phytoplankton and copepods 2-3 times a week helping offer natural amino acids aiding in color and growth.
This coral can produce sweeper tentacles occasionally so give it 2-3” at least other corals.
