Micromussa amakusensis, the smaller of the acan species, are beautiful slow growing LPS corals. This one has a range of coloring bursting from the center of each head. While they can handle a range of lighting we are growing them around (150-200 PAR) with moderate to low flow. We have found that we get our best colors in moderate light (150-120 PAR) and feed them meaty foods such as copepods and enriched baby brine shrimp as well as broadcasting our phytoplankton blend.
