Wirey long strands of macro algae best suited for a refugium or an algae reactor as it can grow in tightly compact spaces. Will not attach to rock or substrate and can become brittle breaking into smaller pieces. Growth structure provides shelter for a diversity of small, beneficial benthic creatures such copepods, ispods and amphipods. Also makes for a delicious seaweed treat for herbivorous fishes. One portion is roughly baseball sized.
